We really love our visits to Madeira Beach. When it is time to go out to eat, here are our personal favorites. Best Breakfast Spot: Sweet Sage Café. Best Lunch spots: Original Pizza -- right across the street from our Ocean Sands condo. Great Cuban sandwich. They make their own dough and rolls. YUM! Best Early Bird Dinner: Great value for the price at the Salt Rock Grill early bird dinner (4-5 pm). Salt Rock is also the perfect pick for that special dinner. Middle Grounds Grill in Treasure Island is a winner - excellent quality food and service. Don't pass up the Prince Edward Island Mussels (half-price during Early Bird). Be sure to request a spoon for the broth. Favorite casual dining spots: O'Maddy's Grill in Gulfport is a hidden gem. We're always impressed with the quality of the food. Chef Wade's daily lunch and dinner specials are freshly prepared and full of flavor. Why did we wait so long to try Peg's Cantina in Gulfport? The food is great! Very relaxed atmosphere. Lee enjoys the extensive beer list. One of our favorites is E&E Steakout Grill. We've never been dissappointed. Lee recommends the pork chop, while Marie votes for the vegetable plate. Want something different? Try the delicious home-made Middle Eastern cuisine at Beirut Cafe. It is an intimate cafe, tucked away in a strip mall. Do not let appearances deceive you -- the atmosphere is warm & the food is delicious. |
